How to Delete Your Account (Step-by-Step)
Via Mobile App (iOS / Android)
- Open the CAAS App on your iPhone or Android device.
- Go to Settings & Privacy from the profile tab or navigation bar.
- Scroll down to the Danger Zone section.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm your deletion. Your account, sessions, and data will be erased immediately.
Via Web Dashboard
- Log in at https://caaswellness.com/login.
- Navigate to your Dashboard Settings.
- Select the Device Security / Account tab.
- Under Danger Zone, click Delete Account.
- Confirm the prompt. You will be logged out and your data will be permanently wiped.
By Email / Support Request

What Happens to Your Data Upon Deletion
When you delete your account, we delete or permanently anonymize your data according to strict data protection standards (including India Digital Personal Data Protection Act, Apple Developer Guidelines, and Google Play Store policies).

Legal Retention Notice: While all your personally identifiable profile credentials, chat history, and health notes are wiped immediately, financial transaction logs and GST invoice numbers are retained solely for statutory accounting, fraud prevention, and regulatory tax compliance under Indian Law. These records are completely dissociated from active user profiles.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I recover my account after deleting it?
No. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once deleted, your session logs, mood records, and consultation history cannot be recovered. You may register as a new user in the future using the same email or phone number.
What happens if I have an upcoming booked consultation?
When you initiate an account deletion, all upcoming scheduled or pending appointments are automatically cancelled immediately, and the reserved time slots are released back to the psychologist.
Does deleting the mobile app delete my account?
No. Uninstalling or deleting the application from your phone only removes the local app files. Your account remains active on the CAAS platform until you delete it from inside the app settings, web dashboard, or via this portal.
How long do backup cycles take to purge deleted data?
Active access and searchable databases purge your account immediately (within seconds). Residual offline database backups are cycled and permanently overwritten within a maximum window of 30 days.
